On June 7th for the United Way’s Day of Caring, Baker employees rolled up their sleeves and worked at a number of Waban homes in Sanford, Maine cleaning up, planting flowers, and painting. The Waban Projects has blossomed into a vast organization, with an array of programs providing services and support to over 4,000 children and adults annually.
United Way’s Day of Caring offers opportunities for teams of volunteers to roll up their sleeves and make a difference. Projects are available for corporate teams and community groups at nonprofit organizations, schools and libraries throughout Maine and the country. For more information contact the United Way.
